Dear Hamblin Family,
Well, the reunion has come and gone and we have booked the reunion for next year!! There was a lot of suggestions about the reunions and one of them was to start the reunion a day earlier because 36 hours just isn't enough time to really visit and spend good quality family time together!!!! So Patti and I put it out there about starting the reunion on Thursday and the response was really positive. It sounds like the majority of the family would like it to start on Thursday. Therefore, the decision has been made to start the 2010 Hamblin Family Reunion on Thursday July 29th, starting around check-in time at the Drawbridge which is 3-4 pm. We would really, really, like it if we could book the Party Room for Thursday also... The cost of course is an additional $200.00. Patti, Tom, Myself, Jeff, Amy and Frank are all willing to "pitch in" money and we were hoping that those of you who also want to start the reunion earlier would also be willing to "pitch in" money as well. There is also talk of "Outings" on Friday... The Boys are talking about a Golf Outing.. the Moms and Dads are talking about a Zoo/Waterpark Outing and us Seasoned Ladies are talking about Massages, Pedicures, Lunch, and possibly shopping. The theme is still "Luau" and as of right now the fee is still $20.00 per person over the age of 10. Everyone will still be asked to bring their list and 1 wrapped prize Per Person. We will have cornhole again and of course Patti and I have come up with some new games that are sure to be a riot and lots of fun!!!! I have put myself on a payment plan with the Reunion Hostess (Patti will hold all the money) and so far I have made 2 payments. It is working out very well and Patti wants to extend the payment plan to anyone who would like to take advantage of this great offer!!!!!
